Hochgrat - Oberstaufen

The Hochgrat is a mountain in the Allgäu Alps and about 1800 meters high. In general, this place is recommended for hikers, tobogganists and people who just want to enjoy the panorama on the summit. In principle, there are 2 options to climb the mountain. On the one hand, you can get up and down with the cable car. On the other hand, fit people can also climb the mountain on foot. You can toboggan there in winter. Paragliders also use the Hochgrat as a starting point, which is why many paragliders can be seen. Above is a hut with food. Travel time by car: 40 min.

Scheidegger waterfalls

The Scheidegger waterfalls are something for big and small. We were pleasantly surprised, as the circular route through the forest to the waterfalls offered more than expected. We were there in the morning around 10 o'clock and it was not very busy. The circular route takes approx. 1 hour, with smaller partial paths a longer stay is possible. There is also a playground and a kiosk. Travel time by car: 9 min.

Alpseebergwelt - Immenstadt

Hausbachklamm

The Hausbachklamm is a circular hiking trail. The large circular route starts in Weiler with 15 km and the small circular route begins in Oberreute and covers approx. 5 km. You hike in pure nature, completely secluded from everything. Most of the trail is in the shade. There are many swimming opportunities in the Hausbachklamm. Sturdy shoes are recommended. Cheeks

Wangen contains a beautiful and cozy old town that invites you to shop and have a cozy coffee. Preferred days of the week for a trip to Wangen are Wednesday and Saturday, as one of the largest and most beautiful weekly markets in the Westallgäu is set up on these days.
